Yeah, just finished my interview. It was a 1hour 15 minute ride to North Van. I arrived early, so I thought I'd eat some lunch before arriving at the company's building.
Lol, I ate at New York Fries; the food court at Capilano Mall.
To my surprise, there was no ketchup for the fries, you know the push-and-pump ketchup container? No ketchup in there, so I actually had to ask the employee for some ketchup.
Anyways, I stuffed that food quickly; it was time for the interview.
I had my dress shoes in my backpack, so I thought I'd change in front of the building when nobody was looking. Just shoes right? No big deal.
I went in at exactly 1:30; punctuality ftw.
Had my interview, they asked questions, I answered. I guess I'm pretty good at interviews, I made a couple of jokes, they laughed, we were all persian so it was fun.
Interviewer : "So, you speak persian?"
Me : "A little bit"
Interviewer : "Well, you have to speak persian to get hired."
----- We all laugh -----
Me : "Midoonam degeh" ( I know, of course ) XD
----- We all laugh -----
lol so after interview I was sent back to the little lobby room and had to wait a decision from the interviewers.
One of them came and told me, "yeah I know you're only 19 and we haven't hired someone your age before and you haven't worked full-time... but you have potential and you're trustworthy, we can start you off for an evaluation period, roughly around 3 months, what do you say?"
Me : yes =) let's do it!
So, I got hired as 'Junior Designer'. lol ironic i know, i went to school as a visual game programmer, and got hired as Junior Designer.
Okay, so all the other Designers are 30 years + ? wow
Looks like I'm starting off with a very serious company.
In another topic, I need to read that driving manual.
