I cannot believe how lucky I am.
Okay, so today I didn't read the driving manual, sigh, they're only open on weekdays, so I have until Sunday night to study.
Alright, how lucky am I?
Here's what happened to me tonight...
At around 7:15pm I left home to go out with my friends at downtown vancouver.
I arrived at a pub at Nelson St.
Sigh, I did vow to stop drinking forever, but I guess peer pressure got a hold of me, and I had no choice but to accept the free Smirnoff Ice.
I was the only one to order some food there, and after the Canucks game (I don't watch hockey that much, we did win though 3-2 ) we went to another bar.
Blarney Stone at Carrol St.
$8.00 cover and I paid $4.75 for a pint of Lager. Okay, so I drank even more, again the peer pressure, everyone was drinking so I felt left out.
It was around 11:00pm when I finally felt that I was a little drunk.
I learned much about myself at this time lol.
I was somehow convinced to dance. So after 10 seconds of dancing like a crazy man, I realized what I was doing and eased off back to my seat.
It took sometime to convince my friend that I was leaving, he was disappointed but he understood; I shook everybody's hand and said my goodbyes ( I normally am too shy to do this, but I guess the drink did something to me ) and I left.
Ran to the Skytrain station and took the Skytrain to 22nd.
This is where I get very lucky.
I get to 22nd at 11:54pm~, and the last bus just arrives there. Sweet!
Happy to be home.
