Company emergencies call for extra work hours.
Company emergencies caused by Human Error suck.
Humans are imperfect.
Of course...
But, seriously, technology should fix all our mistakes. They should all be equipped with fail-safe mechanisms. And I mean all.
If I delete something by mistake, I should be able to face my error with pride and say 'ABRAKADABRA' and voila! Undeleted.
But no... Data recovery isn't 100% achievable.
Lame.
However, this brings the topic of 'imperfection can't create perfection'?
Only a perfect object can create perfection. That's my guess.
An object tainted with imperfections cannot create perfection.
If it's in our genes, it will be in our offspring.
If you're familiar with the DNA structure :
Omg I have an extra G in my ASTG pattern. I am no longer perfect.
But wait.
We all have our own definitions of perfectness.
I mean.
If it does the job for us, and it does it to our satisfaction, we could call it perfect couldn't we?
In that sense, well, kind of.
A nanny would use a vacuum cleaner to clean her carpet.
After cleaning she would look at the carpet in satisfaction and say, "This vacuum cleaner did the job perfectly."
However, a microbiologist would never say such a thing.
After cleaning the carpet, the microbiologist would say, "The vacuum cleaner isn't worth the money I spent for, there's still bacteria lying everywhere."
Perfection needs perspective then? Is that it?
But then what truly is perfection?
And who's perspective do we trust?
Is it our own? Or is it someone who studied microbiology for some time?
Or maybe perfection doesn't exist.
No, it's something human beings fail at and will keep failing at until the end of time.
We were born imperfect and we'll stay that way.
That's too bad. I was hoping I'd be able to grow wings someday.

did you have a bad day at work today is that why your blogging about the flaws of mankind?
I never talk to you on msn anymore...why is that? not enough commonalities? ( i dont think thats a word...lol but you know what i mean ... i hope =/
of course nothing is perfect...nothing is created without a flaw. math is probably the closes thing to being perfect. I however agree that something could be perfect for a person in a philosophical way no matter how untrue it may be. I can't argue or discount the fact that something a person think is perfect if it meets all of your expectations and then some.

Well, apparently you're not perfect either, because the last time I checked, I didn't have an 'S' in my dna strand.
Anyway, the idea of perfection is flawed anyway. Objects can't be perfect. Humans can't be perfect. Things can have perfect qualities(noun or adjective or whatever), but it is impossible to be 'perfect'. For example, this word can be perfectly bolded, but it isn't just perfect. That's because I think the definition for the state of perfectness has been defined. And once you have a quality that needs to be defined, then we get to your whole "subjective" thing.
My two cents...
Perfect is what makes you spin in circles, giggle, hug a pillow, hide behind a tree, skip every other step.
Perfection is blue flowers, fresh cut grass, something sweet and sticky, soft nice smelling things, things that make you laugh.
Smile, and everything is perfect.
i think you are talking about contentment == "Perfect is what makes you spin in circles, giggle, hug a pillow, hide behind a tree, skip every other step.
