I went to the Richmond NCIX today since they're the only branch open on Sunday to buy a couple of things.
I bought 2 mice, one for work (the company will pay for this), and one for my "taking so long to arrive" toy. I bought a mousepad for my wrist. I also bought my portable hard drive for SSD/External HDD synergy.
And then I walked to Lansdowne where I heard a loud fire alarm, but I noticed that nobody cared and were still shopping. I trusted the shoppers and roamed the mall thinking it was just a false alarm.
I walked into Best Buy, and saw Zbear. He was too busy and I didn't get a chance to say "Hi". Oh well, good times.
I strolled into the food court, and to my surprise, at the corner of my eye, I saw StanLee's sis working at the Orange Julius? I didn't say "Hi", because I don't think she knows me. It's funny how I remember everyone from school. I guess I'm good with remembering faces.
I was hungry, but wanted to eat something better than fast food; therefore, I left the mall and headed towards Richmond Centre. It was almost 5:45 when I decided to try Milestones.
I ate there and talked with my server for awhile. He asked me if I was at school, I replied that I graduated from the Art Institute and working at a software company making websites.
To my surprise, he said he was also a programmer, and from his Electrical Engineering degree works at EA as a developer helping to make NHL. He told me that I should use my programming skills and apply to EA since they're hiring.
Interesting.
Anyways, I took the bus home and soon realized, as I'm writing this blog entry, that I forgot to do one thing. I'll finish it tomorrow. It's really blue and cool.
